Wednesday 21/07/2010  High Wycombe

An elderly patient was reported missing from a Health Centre. BSAR members and five dog teams were already en route to the incident when she was found safe in the town centre.

Sunday 04/07/2010  Two more quick finds

Police have called on BSAR to assist with two searches over the last few days, one in Milton Keynes and the other in Oxfordshire. In both cases the missing persons were found shortly afterwards.

Six BSAR members were en route to this incident in the early hours of the morning when the missing teenager was located.

Monday 21/06/2010  Latimer Search

BSAR, SEBEV and Berkshire Search Dog teams joined police officers and PCSO's in the search for a missing Amersham man. There were concerns for his welfare and when news of sightings near Latimer came in, all efforts were concentrated in that area. Late in the afternoon the missing man was found alive and well in Rickmansworth.

Tuesday 15/06/2010  Missing Schoolboy

Searchers from three teams were ready to go when a fourteen year old boy was reported missing from his school near Witney in Oxfordshire. Fortunately he was found before the search was escalated.

Tuesday 08/06/2010  Shabbington

BSAR members joined three other ALSAR teams along with Search Dog teams to search a large area of woodland in Oxforshire for a 47 year old missing person. Dispite searching all day in torrential rain no trace was found.

Sunday 06/06/2010  Busy Sunday

While many BSAR members were at a Hearing Dogs for Deaf People event running car parks and first aid, there were two calls for assistance from Thames Valley Police. First an elderly person went missing in Banbury and later an eleven year old disapeared in Milton Keynes. Both were found after a short while however, so the event could be completed with a full compliment.

Three ALSAR teams were ready to start a search near Benson in Oxfordshire this morning. However, the missing person turned up during the night.

Sunday 25/04/2010  Police helicopter crew find missing walker

An elderly woman who went missing while walking with family at Christmas Common was located by a police helicopter crew while BSAR members were standing by to join the search.

Monday 19/04/2010  Unsung Heroes

Three members from BSAR, were pleased to represent the organisation at a Reception for Unsung Heroes of Buckinghamshire, which was held on Thursday 15th April.

The invitation was from The Chairman of Buckinghamshire County Council, Mr Richard Pushman and was held at the Judges Lodgings in Aylesbury.

Sunday 18/04/2010  Missing five year old Windsor

BSAR were on standby when a missing five year old was reported in Windsor. Shortly afterwards the child was spotted wandering towards the river. Callouts for young children are very rare. Because of the high priority given by police, rapid results like this are the norm. However BSAR was ready to send seven search technicians and their mobile control vehicle within minutes of the call.

Monday 29/03/2010  Blue Lagoon

BSAR members were about to be called to the Blue Lagoon park in Bletchley to search for a missing man in the early hours this morning. However, shortly afterward we were informed by police that we were not longer needed.

Friday 26/03/2010  Blewbury

A missing man was found near Blewbury in Oxfordshire while BSAR members were getting ready to leave for the location.
